Beating The Winter Hair Blues ;

I mentioned last week five modifications of my beauty daily routine that my hairdresser suggested you do to maintain your tresses healthy and gorgeous throughout the long winter months. I provide his suggestions this week for some more simple ways we can all easily overcome the wintertime hair blues.

A Food Plan That Is Balanced.

Who wouldn't want to indulge in the colder months? The cold weather seems to make our bodies yearn to consume additional comforting foods, and the holidays necessitate large family gatherings. But the rise in filling casseroles, sugary pies, and mulled wine can actually be taxing on our hair and scalps. As a result, it's crucial to make sure our meals have sufficient variety to include enough lean protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and foods high in vitamins, among other nutrients them are necessary for healthy hair development.

Also, be cautious about consuming booze or full-fat dairy products when you experience a flaking and scalp that itches. Additionally, since people tend to be vitamin D deficient as a result of decreased sunlight exposure, you may want to consider taking a supplement.

Maintain Internal Hydration.

In order to keep your scalp and hair hydrated during the dry winter months, it's imperative that you drink lots of water. It's true that dehydration might slow down hair development. Carrying a water bottle around you, sipping at the same time every day, and experimenting with adding a slice of lemon or lime to your water to give it a twist are some helpful reminders for remembering to drink enough water.

Keep Yourself Hydrated Outside.

Utilize an air conditioner when it's possible to maintain high moisture levels at home, which will benefit your skin and hair. An alternative would be to leave a bowl of water in the room overnight, which would help to keep the air somewhat damp.

Reduce Stress!

Stress around holidays is a real thing. The holidays are arguably one of the busiest times of the year for the majority of us. Organizing company & family gatherings, selecting presents, or completing tasks in time for our vacation. A 5-minute break during the day to unwind and do something for ourselves would undoubtedly be beneficial to our bodies and minds. This also applies to our hair, which actually rips more easily under stress. In terms of making you feel more composed and equipped to tackle chaos of the weekends and holidays, even frequent breathers can help your hair!

Put on that cap.

Wear a cap or wrap a headgear on the hair to protect from the brutal winter cold, that can seriously damage it. Select a satin interior to lessen "hat hair" and frizz. Select a headgear that does not impede your scalp's blood flow. Plus: hats were a great way to enhance your outfit and conceal unruly hair days!

I'm excited to apply these methods to my usual hair care routine so that I can avoid frizzy, dull hair and dry scalp this winter and still have shiny locks. The cold weather will be appreciated by the hair just as much as I will when I give it some additional attention, both inside and out, and flavor my lattes with peppermint. In a few weeks, I can't wait to wear my gorgeous hair, cuddle up with my favorite fur, and love the chilly weather!

Has winter been particularly harsh on your hair than usual since you turned forty? What other hair care tips do you use to share with winter? Would you kindly inform me about them?
